Why this is safer
When shop software runs on the office computer, your entire history is tied to one machine. That machine can be stolen, fail, catch something nasty, or be wiped by someone who meant well. With the records on the server, none of that stops your business.

Backups
A full copy of your records is taken every day, automatically, and copies going back months are kept. Nobody has to remember to do it, plug anything in, or check that it worked.
Backups exist so that a bad day stays a bad day. Whatever happens to a machine, a phone or a person, yesterday's work is still there this morning.
Access and sessions
Session expiry
Sign-in expires after a period of inactivity and again after a fixed maximum, whether you are active or not.
Audit trail
Payments, credit decisions and data exports are recorded with the user and the timestamp.
Your data stays yours
Reports and account statements export to Excel and documents print to PDF, so you can take your figures out whenever you want. There is no export fee and no lock-in clause.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see my data?
The users you create, within the permissions you give them. We access a tenant's data only when you ask us to for support.
Is there a guaranteed uptime figure?
We do not publish a contractual uptime figure. What we can tell you is that the platform is monitored, updates are released outside busy hours, and if something is wrong you reach the people who can fix it rather than a ticket queue.
Where is the data hosted?
On servers in Europe. If your business is required to keep its records in a particular country, ask us before you subscribe.
